The Youth Office of the City of Belgrade and the City Municipality of Stari Grad on Friday, 12 August 2022 from 18.00, will mark International Youth Day.
The event will be held under the slogan “Because we are all winners” on the plateau near Pobednik on Kalemegdan.
Visitors can expect educational-cultural-entertainment workshops, and from 9:00 p.m. a concert featuring Zoi, Anđela Tasić and Sara Jo.
– We invite all generations, not only young people, to come to Kalemegdan on Friday and thus support this event. We tell young people that they should be in solidarity with all members of our society and make the best possible use of everything that youth provides and brings with it. We should be proud and join forces to support young people, because only together can we be winners – said Nikola Lazić, organizer of the event.
International Youth Day is celebrated every year on the 12th. in August with the aim of drawing the attention of the international community to youth issues, as well as to the potential of young people as partners in today’s global society.
This year, the theme of the International Youth Day is “intergenerational solidarity”, and the intention is to send a strong message on a global level about the need to undertake activities aimed at strengthening social cohesion in society through improving relations between generations, as well as strengthening mutual understanding and daily cooperation.
