
08.05. and 09.05.2023. the fourth training for peer educators was held within the project supported by the Equality Fund



On May 8 and 9, 2023, training sessions for peer educators within the Equality project were held at the Palace Hotel. They participated in the training within Equality Fund.Students and teaching assistants from primary schools: Zaga Malivuk Primary School, Branko Pešić Primary School, Jovan Cvijić Primary School and Archibald Rajs Primary School participated in the training.
The participants were presented with the topic of managing big emotions, in a creative and educational way, adapted to their age. The introductory part of the training started with a game activity to identify the current feelings and needs of the participants as well as ways of expressing them, in order to encourage self-confidence, autonomy and group cohesion. The participants were educated on recognizing intense emotions and emotional control techniques.
Participants are introduced to the concept of gender equality and healthy interpersonal relationships, with an emphasis on understanding the difference between sex and gender.
Through the carefully selected content of the workshop, the topic of violence in interpersonal relationships was addressed, whereby the facilitator’s approach in working with the participants was adapted to the tragic situation of juvenile murder that befell us. The participants had the opportunity to recognize violence and healthy interpersonal relationships through the examples presented. . .After the analysis of the performed evaluation, the participants pointed out that they liked the covered topics and the positive atmosphere of joint work the most.

The motivation of the participants was at a high level, through interactive work and socializing, the transferred knowledge was adopted.
