On May 10 and 11, 2023, at the Palace Hotel in Belgrade, training sessions for peer educators were held as part of the Equality project.
The training was attended by students from four Belgrade schools: Zaga Malivuk Elementary School, Branko Pešić Elementary School, Jovan Cvijić Elementary School, and Archibald Rajs Elementary School, as well as pedagogic/psychological assistants from the aforementioned schools.

During two days of specially adapted training, the participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the concepts and meaning of human and specifically children’s rights, guaranteed by the Convention on the Rights of the Child, an international instrument created with the aim of taking care of the needs of the child and realizing basic rights.

Through interactive and creative work, the students were introduced to the rights and obligations they have as members of the community they live in. Through specially created games and video materials, they showed a great interest in the topic of children’s rights and a desire to pass on the acquired knowledge to their peers through peer workshops that will lead, after the training is completed.
