Organized by the Roma Center for women and children Daja, victimology Society of Serbia held accredited training of social service providers for work with victims. The training was held at the Belgrade hotel Palas, at four hours 20.05. and 21.05 as well as 27.05. and 28.05.2023. year.
Participants, members of the United Roma Women Against Violence Network, gained concrete knowledge for providing support to women who have experience of male violence, as well as procedures and competent institutions to which beneficiaries are referred for adequate legal and psychological support in order to overcome trauma caused by violence.
During the workshops, the participants actively participated in the discussion, showed interest in the topic and readiness for additional education in order to prevent violence and support women who have experience of any form of violence
The participants were also interested in continuing their cooperation. We believe that this form of education is very important in order to prevent and respond to violence, discrimination.
